How to Change a Print Ribbon on your Brady BBP®35/37 Printer

With the Brady BBP®35 and BBP®37 Sign and Label Printers, installing and changing your print ribbon is easy.

Print ribbon cartridges for the BBP®35/37 printers are equipped with Smart Cell technology, which tells the printer everything it needs to know about the media installed. Then it automatically sets everything up for you!

Hold the cartridge so that the yellow label is facing upward and away from the printer and the Brady logo is at the bottom. Position the cartridge over the print head and move the ribbon cartridge straight in until the tab at the top of the cartridge engages with the printer. Then push the bottom of the cartridge in until it snaps into place. If there is excess slack in the ribbon, just rotate the top roller in the direction of the embossed arrow.

To remove a ribbon cartridge, pull down on the tab at the top of the cartridge and pull the cartridge straight out.

Material changeovers take just 20 seconds in the BBP®35/37 printer.
